About Grubble Eats
The food decision app built for groups, not just solo discovery.
Why we built it
Deciding where to eat with friends is a small, daily, universal kind of misery — the group chat that loops for twenty minutes and lands nowhere. Existing food apps make it worse: they're designed for one person browsing a catalog alone, not a group trying to agree. We're flipping that primitive.
How we're different
Grubble is group-first, not group-as-an-afterthought. Friends join a live session and swipe the same stack in real time, and the AI reasons about taste consensus — what the whole room will agree on — not just one person's preferences. The decision is the product.
Who's behind it
Grubble Eats is built by Tenvaro, founded by James Blanchard — an AI-augmented solo developer who ships full products end to end. The stack is lean and modern: a Cloudflare backend for sessions and waitlist, Flutter for native and web, and Claude powering the AI surfaces.
Where we're headed
Right now: a public beta on the web. Next: native iOS and Android apps. After that: more cities, more cuisines, and restaurant partnerships that help groups discover places worth agreeing on. Forward-looking — and we'll build it in the open.
